Poshmark Silently Releases Highly Anticipated ‘Save as Draft’ Feature to Some Users

The Latest Poshmark News, Tips & FAQs!

Poshmark released the highly anticipated drafts feature for some of its sellers as early as December 6, 2018. There was no public announcement or article written about the update however, which is out of the ordinary.

Poshmark sellers have been wanting the ability to save their listings as a draft for years, more-so recently than before, and Poshmark has indeed listened, as they do.

It was first announced that a drafts feature would be added to Poshmark at PoshFest 2018, which took place in Dallas, Texas on Oct 12 & 13, 2018.

On December 6, 2018, I first heard about the drafts feature already being available for some users by the YouTube couple The Thrifty Flamingo during this live stream. They tend to be on top of things and know very well what they’re doing when it comes to selling on Poshmark.

The way you access the save to draft feature on Poshmark is not what most resellers have grown accustomed to on other platforms such as eBay. For the save to draft option to actually appear, you have to first tap on the back button (left-facing arrow) on your listing after adding a photo and title details. Only then will ‘save to drafts’ appear. It feels wrong at first, but I’m sure we’ll all get used to it over time.

I do not personally have the feature on my account yet, but I’m sure it is on its way shortly. There are quite a number of others stating that they do not have the new drafts feature either, which makes one believe that it is a slow roll out to test how well it holds up to the masses. Testing the waters on a new feature with a set percentage of users is always the way to go, especially when you have such a huge number of sellers. With that being said, it is very possible that the way ‘save to draft’ is implemented today, may very well change in the coming weeks or months.

There are more than 4 million sellers on Poshmark selling over 25 million items, and these items are being purchased on Poshmark at a rate of about 1 item per second. That’s pretty impressive.

Question: Do you have the save to drafts feature on your Poshmark account yet? If so, have you used it, and are you pleased that it has finally arrived?
